IT COULDN'T BE DONE
NBC 04/02/1970 |
A one hour television special, hosted by Lee Marvin, made as tribute to the American working man. The program features the great building projects in American history which - at the time they were conceived - were considered "impossible" tasks. Actual construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, Mt. Rushmore, the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Holland Tunnel (among others) are recreated by historical film clips and accounts by the workers, engineers and architects. Musical interludes are provided by The 5thDimension. |
